We have accomplished a lot this week. We’ve gone from My Photos Are Everywhere! to creating a comprehensive checklist of photos and media. This includes a timeline of dates and locations that will help with the labeling process and an accurate count of all the items in your collection. This is a great start to organizing your photo collection.

Edit Your Collection
The last tip for this week is to edit your collection. Are you finding a lot of duplicates in your photo collection? This is especially common with digital photography. It’s time to look through your collection and delete or remove the doubles, blurry shots, and those scenery-only photos that no one remembers where or when they were taken. If they don’t have meaning to you or your family, perhaps it’s time to edit those pictures out of your collection. If you edit your collection of photos to a more manageable size, it will make the organizing process easier and faster in the long run.
